Pavers Foundation grants funding boost to Ingles FC

The Pavers Foundation, charitable initiative of multi-channel footwear retailer, Pavers, has recently donated £800 to Ingles Juniors FC, on behalf of Gail Wilmore, Manager of Pavers in Shepshed. The grant was made through the Pavers Foundation employee grant scheme, which makes a difference to hundreds of charities close to the hearts of colleagues of the business.

The funding will go towards thermal kits for the juniors team, along with goals which will be used by the under 8’s, 7 and 5 a side teams respectively. Gail Wilmore applied for grant funding from the Pavers Foundation as she has family members who attend the club; “I have seen the amazing work the Pavers Foundation has done over the years I have worked for Pavers and believe they can really make a difference to the upcoming talent of the children with this donation. Thank you for awarding this funding to the club.”

Josh Turner also thanked the Foundation on behalf of the children and parents who support Ingles FC ; “We just waned to say thank you so much for helping us to purchase this equipment for the club, it really does make a huge difference and goes a long way to supporting the teams”.

The Pavers Foundation is dedicated to making a meaningful impact to the charities and causes close to the hearts of their colleagues. The Foundation has donated over £1.7 million to date, including over £230,000 to Ukraine over the past 18 months. The Foundation continues to make a difference with every pair sold, donating 2% of net profits as well as the proceeds from sales of carrier bags in Pavers stores across the UK and Ireland.
