Pavers Foundation grants £1,000 to Warwickshire-based Shakespeare Hospice

The Pavers Foundation, employee-led charitable initiative of multi-channel comfort footwear retailer, Pavers, has recently donated £1,000 to The Shakespeare Hospice, on behalf of Louise Knight, store manager at Pavers in Evesham.

Louise applied for funding through the Pavers Foundation’s employee-led grant application scheme, wanting to thank the Hospice for the fabulous care they gave to her and her family recently. The donation to the Hospice will go towards refurbishing the facilities at the day Hospice, which supports over 1000 people from south Warwickshire to the North Cotswolds, as well as providing Hospice at Home care.

Louise thanked the Foundation for donating to this cause on her behalf; “They have given so much time and support to my family over the last few months, without them we would have been lost. Thank you so much for the donation its going to help them so much, I am very grateful”.

Sam Conway, Marketing and Communications manager at the Hospice, thanked the Pavers Foundation for the support they have given to the facility. “We would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Pavers Foundation for their incredibly generous donation of £1,000. As a charity, we aim to make our Day Hospice as warm and welcoming as possible for our patients, their families and loved ones. This donation will help us to achieve that aim as it will help fund items such as wall paintings, soft furnishings, plant pots and free-standing shelving to create a warm and less clinical environment.”

The Pavers Foundation is proud to have donated over £1.4million to charity since it was founded in 2018. Since then, the charity has benefitted from 2% net profits from Pavers each year, enabling them to make a difference with every pair sold.
