Pavers Foundation Donates to Local Community Club, Market Bosworth FC

The Pavers Foundation, charitable employee-led initiative of leading family-owned footwear retailer, Pavers, has recently donated £500 to Market Bosworth FC, on behalf of Emma King, store manager at Pavers Stapleton. The Pavers Foundation was established in 2018 to enable charitable giving by the company and its 1700 employees across the UK and beyond.

Emma applied for funding for Market Bosworth FC, the local community football club which her son, Ethan attends. In the past few months, Ethan has established the first men’s adult team so that he and his peers could continue to enjoy friendly competitive football in the local community. The grant donation will be used to purchase kits for this brand new team, to ensure they can become fully established in the local league; “thank you so much for this grant from The Pavers Foundation, I really can’t believe the generosity!” Ethan Caplice, Market Bosworth FC.

Emma King also thanked The Pavers Foundation for the donation “Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it means a lot to all of them on the team that they can carry on with the sport they enjoy so much. The general feeling of being a part of something that Market Bosworth FC gives to the young men who attend means the world to them and helps to keep their minds focussed and has a positive impact on their mental health”.

The Pavers Foundation is delighted to support hundreds of charities and causes nominated by colleagues of the business and the Paver Family. The Foundation has donated over £1.4 million to good causes in the past 4 years and continues to make a difference with every pair sold.
