Pavers Foundation Donates to All Stars Youth Group!

The Pavers Foundation, charitable initiative of leading comfort footwear retailer, Pavers has recently donated £2,000 to All Stars Youth Group, Dudley, on behalf of Marie Samuels-Meeds, who applied through the Foundation’s employee grant scheme.

Marie applied for the grant funding to support All Stars, a group for young adults with special educational needs in the Dudley Borough. Marie’s daughter Olivia, who also previously worked at Pavers, is a volunteer for the charity and her goddaughter attends the group regularly. The charity will use the money to support their annual ball later this year, celebrating the wonderful achievements of all the young people throughout the year.

Marie was delighted to attend both the senior and junior group evenings to meet with the young people of All Stars and to present the donation cheque.

“Thank you all so much for this massive donation to All Stars, they’re so made up to have received this cheque, as are myself and my daughter Oliva who support the group. I met with the adult’s group for a disco, raffle, karaoke and buffet evening before meeting with the juniors for an outdoor bubble evening, we all had so much fun!”, Marie Samuels-Meeds.

All Stars Youth Group thanked the Pavers Foundation for the grant funding; “This funding is a phenomenal amount of money for us to receive and will be shared across both youth club and our senior group members to host a spectacular annual Enchanted Forest Ball for all this year to celebrate our achievements together.”

The Foundation, which grants meaningful donations to charities and causes close to the hearts of the 1700 colleagues of Pavers, has donated over £1.7million to date and continues to make a difference with every pair sold.
