Pavers Foundation Donates £2,000 to St Leonard’s Hospice

The Pavers Foundation employee-led charitable initiative of The York Top 100 Business Award Winner Pavers has donated £2,000 to local Charity St Leonard’s Hospice, on behalf of Becky Hill, Manager and Joanne Alexander, Customer Advisor at Pavers York city centre store.

The ladies jointly applied to the Pavers Foundation’s employee-led grant application scheme to receive funding after witnessing the amazing care that the hospice gave to both of their families, their donation will go towards creating bereavement memory comfort boxes for children (pictured).

The Pavers Foundation invites colleagues from across the business to submit grant applications for charities & causes close to their hearts.  Its aim is to donate equally to charities & causes that make a difference in health, education, and community, and recently celebrated an amazing achievement of reaching its £1million milestone of charitable giving!

Founded by Catherine Paver in 1971, Pavers established the Foundation in 2018 to enable charitable giving by the business and its 1500 colleagues. Through the Foundation, Pavers has supported good causes via its; employee grant application scheme, charities of the year, together with donations made on behalf of the family.
