From our family to yours: funding from the Foundation for Martin House Hospice

Vanessa Paver-Smith and her husband Jacob have awarded £2,500 to Martin House Hospice through the Pavers Foundation, to continue their amazing work providing family-led care for children with life shortening illnesses.

Vanessa, granddaughter of Pavers’ Founder Cathy Paver, made the donation through the Foundation, to support families of life-limited children across North, West and East Yorkshire.

Martin House Hospice prides itself on its mission: to help children and young people with a life-limiting condition, along with their families, to live well and fully, offering the best possible end of life care and support to the family in bereavement. The Pavers Foundation is delighted to offer this donation from one of our own Paver family members to help towards this very important cause.

The donation was made towards continuing the fantastic work provided by the hospice and its staff and volunteers. This will include: providing special medical equipment in the hospice, equipment and facilities for visitors and help with the cost of relaxation and relief sessions for parents, grandparents and other family members.
