Boomerang makes an impact thanks to grant from the Pavers Foundation!

The Pavers Foundation has awarded a £3,000 grant to Boomerang, a multi-sensory play centre in Bury, Greater Manchester, to help fund essential improvements to their sensory room.

The grant was awarded following an application made by Sharon Carey, Assistant Managerat Pavers in Bury, who’s daughter works at Boomerang:

            “I chose this local charity to support as I am aware of the amazing work they do within our community by offering a multi-sensory play environment that specifically caters for the needs of children with a range of disabilities. Boomerang offers family support, exclusive sessions, therapy sessions and inclusive play opportunities for everyone.”

Boomerang, based in Bury, Greater Manchester, has 3 custom designed playrooms, a large 5-star graded café plus accessible toilets and changing facilities, padding and hoists, allowing children with mobility issues and their families to access each area safely and comfortably.

The play rooms available at Boomerang include the soft play room, the interactive play room and the sensory room, which has been refurbished thanks to the grant form the Foundation.
