Back 2 School for Jason and Russell Paver

Russell and Jason Paver were welcomed back to Fulford School to present a donation of £20,000 on behalf of the Pavers Foundation.

As former pupils of the school, Jason, Russell and Vanessa Paver (not pictured) made the donation to support students in the Fulford Community and to mark Headteacher, Lorna Savage’s retirement from the school after 23 years.

The donation will be put towards refurbishing Science facilities within the school. Lorna Savage, Headteacher of the school said:

“We are delighted and are very grateful to receive such a substantial and generous donation from the Pavers Foundation and to cement the links between the family and Fulford school.

The funding will be put to immediate use in aiding the refurbishment of Science laboratories within the school, to bring these up to date and to enable them to accommodate the ever growing numbers of students seeking to join Fulford. This donation will have an immediate and long lasting impact on students and staff in our community.”

On their visit to the school, Jason and Russell had the opportunity to meet with Sciencestaff who will directly benefit from their donation. In addition to this, they also met with Dan Bodey, Deputy Head who informed them about the great work the school are doing to promote mental health and well-being.

The Pavers Foundation is pleased to support Fulford School and we're looking forward to seeing the Science laboratories once refurbished!
