The Pavers Foundation, employee-led charitable initiative of York-based multi-channel footwear retailer Pavers has donated £500 to New Hope, on behalf of Debra Bennett, store manager at Pavers Chesterfield. The donation will go towards the Charity’s ‘Freedom Project’ which helps women in crisis.
Debra applied for Foundation funding after hearing about the women in crisis freedom project and when volunteering for the New Hope Foodbank in her spare time. The money from the Pavers Foundation will go towards this project, allowing staff to go into schools to talk about spotting the signs of controlling behaviour in relationships and buying lip gloss sticks with discrete helpline numbers on.
Debra thanked the Foundation for supporting her own local charity. “Thank you so much to the Pavers Foundation for offering your support to such a worthwhile cause”.

The Foundation has recently reached its first £1million of charitable donations and is delighted to continue to support local charities and causes close to the hearts of its 1500 colleagues which are impactful in areas of health, education and community.
