Saturday 15th June saw the 49th Macmillan Charity Raceday at York Racecourse and just like last year, the Pavers Foundation was the main sponsor of the action-packed day!
Over 20,000 racegoers attended the event, which saw Recon Mission winning the £100,000 Pavers Foundation Catherine Memorial Sprint.
Trustees of the Pavers Foundation, Graham and Jason Paver, were in attendance to present the winner with the trophy.
The Foundation sponsors the event as a tribute to Catherine Paver, who founded Pavers Shoes in 1971 and had a keen passion for racing.
As well as a fantastic day, more than £640,000 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support, the Pavers Foundation’s Charity of the Year!
