Supporting the homeless through a donation from the Pavers Foundation

The Pavers Foundation are pleased to donate £5,000 to Emmaus, a charity for supporting the homeless, on behalf of Debbie Paver and her husband Ian, son of Pavers’ Founder Cathy Paver.

Emmaus operates nationwide, with this donation directly supporting Debbie and Ian’s local branch, based in Hull.  The charity supports people throughout Yorkshire and the East Riding, allowing them to work their way out of homelessness by providing meaningful work, training, support and a stable home for as long as they need it.

Emmaus works differently to many other homelessness charities, aiming to provide a long-term and sustainable solution to the problem of homelessness across the UK. The donation will go towards funding travel for homeless people, and providing hot meals and essential toiletries for many Emmaus ‘companions’.

“We would like to thank you for your support and the incredible donation from the Pavers Foundation . Here at Emmaus we receive no government funding so the money that you have given has been received with appreciation and gratitude. Your donation helps us to continue our work, assisting those most vulnerable in our community. All contributions continue to make a huge difference here at Emmaus and those street homeless in Hull & East Riding.”
