Stepping Stones Pre-School in York has been given £1,000 by The Pavers Foundation to help fund a new interactive whiteboard.
Kerry Bunting, Graphic Designer at Pavers head office in York applied for the grant to support the pre-school, in which her youngest child attends. Kerry said:
“I applied for the grant from the Pavers Foundation for Stepping Stones as my eldest previously went to the pre-school and my youngest still attends.
The pre-school is entirely self-funded and they hold many events to help raise money for equipment and facilities. The donation of £1,000 will be used to purchase a new interactive whiteboard, which will be great for both the kids and teachers.”
Vicky Fenwick, Office Manager / Deputy Pre-school Manager expressed her thanks for the donation:
“We are so grateful for the wonderful people at Pavers Foundation who have donated the incredible sum of £1,000 to us at Stepping Stones.
This fantastic gesture of support has enabled us to invest in our technology and science room, by the purchase of much needed interactive computer equipment.
We genuinely couldn't have done this without you, so we want to send a huge thank you to Kerry Bunting at Pavers who thought of us and arranged for this to happen, and to all the staff who work so hard to make a difference at charities like ours...you are amazing!”
