Pavers Foundation supports East Lancashire Hospice with grant donation

The Pavers Foundation has donated £500 to the East Lancashire Hospice, following a grant application by Rebecca Buffin, Store Manager at Pavers Oswaldtwistle Mills.

Rebecca applied for the grant after hearing first hand how the Hospice had helped the mother of her friend and work colleague, Shontell:

“My family and I had a lot of support from East Lancashire Hospice and we can’t thank them enough. The care they gave my Mum was second to none…they make you feel like family and nothing is too much trouble”

Shontell Southcott, Oswaldtwistle Mills

Rebecca wanted to support the ongoing work of the charity providing fantastic care and support, peace of mind, and stress relief for those needing end of life care and their families.

“If it weren’t for local community funding, they wouldn’t be able to keep going and provide such high standard of care”

Rebecca Buffin, Store Manager, Pavers Oswaldtwistle Mills

The donation will help towards funding the essential care provided by the Hospice including funding their inpatient unit, medical provision, community services and creative support therapies.

“The huge support from the local community is absolutely astounding. The Pavers Foundation has proven this. Their generosity is amazing and the £500 donation will help so many families in their time of need. We really couldn’t continue to provide the many services at the hospice without the support from causes such as The Pavers Foundation. Thank you”

Catherine Leech, Community Fundraiser at the East Lancashire Hospice

The Pavers Foundation is delighted to enable the East Lancashire Hospice to continue providing outstanding care and support for patients across the East Lancashire region.
