Going for Gold with Donnington Boxing Club

Donnington Boxing Club has received £1,000 from The Pavers Foundation to help purchase new equipment and fund travel for children who take part in competitions away from home.

The donation came after a member of the team at our store in Telford, applied through the employee-grant initiative to support the boxing club.

Donnington Boxing Club work to keep young children off the streets and away from trouble, helping to instill focus, discipline, and self confidence. The children who attend the club regularly take part in competitions away from home, and because of this, the club regularly tries to come up with new ideas and ways to fundraise to help fund these trips, ensuring competitions can be reached.

Donnington Boxing Club and Head Coach Tristan do some fantastic work encouraging young people to take up boxing in turn teaching them discipline, getting them off the streets and in some cases making professional boxers of them.
